TOUR #726 – Delta Birding Sunset Cruise
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Enjoy a relaxing evening cruise, through the waterways of the California Delta, as the day transitions into sunset. Accompanied by a licensed local boat operator and a birder/naturalist, you’ll explore prime habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife during one of the most active times of day.
As the sun begins to set, watch for flocks of geese and ducks flying overhead, while scanning the shoreline for the many birds and mammals that call the Delta home. Sandhill Cranes and Tundra Swans may also be seen as they return to evening roosting areas. The changing light and peaceful scenery make this tour an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing, photography, and experiencing the Delta at day’s end.
