Join local birding expert, David Yee, at the Heritage Oaks Winery to explore the fascinating world of hummingbirds. These diminutive birds are attracted here in droves to feed on nectar rich shrubs and well-tended feeders. David will share his extensive knowledge about the biology, migration, and identification of these tiny hummers. If you are lucky, the hummingbird feeders will be buzzing with various species. At the end of your walk around the grounds, relax and talk birds with other enthusiasts on the Heritage Oak Winery patio while you enjoy Tom and Carmela Hoffman’s handcrafted wines (optional) and a delicious box lunch from the popular Big Belly Deli sandwich shop.
