What Makes Our Festival Special

Each year, thousands of visitors travel to Lodi-area wildlife refuges and farmlands to experience one of nature’s remarkable spectacles. The region’s water, soil, climate, agricultural lands, and crane habitat sustain the birds, enrich the community, and benefit the local economy.

For 28 years, the Lodi Sandhill Crane Association has celebrated the return of the cranes. In partnership with the City of Lodi, the Festival continues to welcome an ever-growing circle of visitors to share in the wonder of Sandhill Cranes and the surrounding natural environment.
