Morning is an excellent time to observe wildlife as birds leave their overnight roosts to feed and the Delta comes to life. \nWatch for geese\, ducks\, and other waterfowl overhead while scanning the shoreline for the many birds and mammals that inhabit the Delta. Sandhill Cranes and Tundra Swans may also be seen\, along with a variety of raptors\, shorebirds\, and songbirds. This tour offers a peaceful way to experience the Delta’s rich wildlife and scenic landscapes. \n  \nTRANSPORTATION\nPersonal car \n  \nWALKING DISTANCE & TERRAIN\nThis tour begins on paved surfaces and includes travel to the boat boarding area\, where some uneven ground may be encountered. Boarding and disembarking the boat requires stepping between the dock and the vessel. Walking distances are short\, but participants should expect minor changes in surface conditions during the tour. \n  \nLAND PASS\nNo \n  \nNOTES/INSTRUCTIONS\nLife jackets are provided. Space is limited on the boat\, so all personal items need to be held on your lap. Bring your binoculars and camera. The tour is suitable for able-bodied adults and kids\, but an adult must accompany their children. Boats have an open canopy; always be prepared for the elements. Toilet facilities are dockside only. We set sail from the dock at Tower Park Marina/Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Camp-Resort. \n
